The Antelope is the latest opening bar in High Wycombe with the largest beer garden. We have club nights, live music events, karaoke and great drinks deals for all. We are a fully vegan pub (as of June 2019).

With our large outdoor stage, 550 capacity, and awesome weekly gigs, we are quickly being recognised as the best live music venue in the area.

The Lope Stage is a new addition, built in July 2017 by the landlord Mark Adkins. Despite being new to the music scene, we are rapidly gathering momentum for our live events. In 2018 we had already had named bands such as The Hoosiers, Republica and Doctor And The Medics, as well as many established tribute bands, from Noasis to the Sex Pistols Experience. We frequently have gig nights with original bands of various genres to suit everyone's taste. We thrive to support the local music scene, therefore we always use Bucks based support acts for our bigger gigs. The stage opens in April each year and closes at the end of september.

In 2018, The Antelope was selected as a finalist for the ei group awards for excellence 2018 in the Best Outdoor Area category, as well as being shortlisted into the final six for the Best Live Music Venue category.

As well as Live music, we frequently have takeover events: Audio Venom (Drum n Bass, Underground House, UK Garage) and Disco In The Basement (House, Disco, Underground). Audio Venom have previously booked known artists such as DJ Pied Piper and Sharky P to play The Antelope.

It is believed that The Antelope was built during the 1600's, but no one knows with any certainty. The Antelope is said to be the oldest Public House in High Wycombe. It took it's name in 1799 when The Antelope pub on the High Street became the Royal Military College.
